Radio cabinets in 1950 were rather ugly Bakelite things so I stripped mine down to its chassis and redesigned a wooden cabinet with some bits of timber I had left over from building. The fabric was the same as used in the dining chairs I made at the time.
An early example of my minimalism approach (which is still a good trait to have).
