A neighbour (dark grey) had a planning application which would have infringed Somerville’s (light grey) solar rights and I was asked to prove that the proposal would indeed reduce their solar gain and privacy. I concluded that some realignment of the proposal would give solar benefits to both parties.
An interesting case of bad planning and lack of concern by the proposer and the authorities.
