Having just moved in to our new house in Jansz Crescent Hilary and I felt the need to announce our new address at Christmas time.
This was about 30 years before I obtained my first computer so it was the old cut and paste images and typescript to take to the printer for photography and plate making. It was even before the arrival of offset printing as I well remember my discussion with Bill Papp the printer in Woolley St, Dickson about the need to change to offset printing – he wasn’t very keen but eventually saw the need to update.
I found out later that he actually lived higher up in Jansz Crescent.
