When we lived at Little Burra, outside Queanbeyan (1973 – 1991) it was a bit of a hassle carrying a large laundry basket full of damp clothes out to the washing line where it could receive its ration of beneficial sunlight.
The trolley was very quickly made out of available steel tubing and spare wheels I had left over from a bowling buggy I had made for TADACT. The top rail was designed to accept standard plastic storage boxes for socks, handkerchieves and other smalls and the trolley has given good service for over 42 years. Unfortunately I had given away the boxes to Nico.
It even has the original coat of paint.
