I wanted to test the current generating capacity of an orange to show my two grandchildren, Kira (11) and Zara (8) that a LED light could be made to light up by wiring the segments in series with galvanised clouts and wires. Something like 2v was generated.
The LED light can be seen just above the wooden dish, held up by two wires.
We were also able to do it with a potato.
