It may have been Judith Wright who asked me to design the exhibition – perhaps stimulated by my design of the Australia ‘75 exhibition in Melville Hall in ANU.
All involved were really concerned about the increasing devastation of the little rainforest left in Australia and felt that through their various arts – poetry, music, painting and photography – they could draw public attention to the situation.
