An adjustable angle wall light designed for the study bedrooms of Bruce Hall (from memory just after the Academy of Science building). It was made in quantity by Progress Lighting in Sydney and the spinning of sheets of aluminium on a lathe was a technique developed during WW2 and enthusiastically taken up by the lighting industry afterwards.
This was a very elegant looking fitting.
